Raw score formula is
X = Z x σ + μ
We can use the formula to calculate raw scores associated with a test, experiment, or data statistics.
For example, if there is a set of test scores of students,
the mean for the test scores is 70, and the standard deviation is 10,
to find out the raw score of a student who scores 2.5 standard deviation above the mean.
it is calculated as
X = 70 + 2.5 x 10
X = 95.
Therefore, the raw score of the students is 95.
