To calculate the blocks needed for the wall,
first calculate the wall area need to cover.
Wall area is calculated length by width,
for example, if the wall length is 5 feet,
the length is 8 feet,
then the area is 5 x 8= 40 feet².
or 40 x 144 = 5760 inches².
Choose your preset block size,
if the block size is 16" x 8",
the area of the block is 16 x 8= 128 inches².
Divide the wall area by block area,
5760 inches²/ 128 inches² = 45 blocks.
